□ KFCC (President & Chairperson Park Cha Hoon) held the competence enhancement workshop designed to ensure sustainable development of credit cooperatives affiliated with International Co-operative Alliance Asia and Pacific (ICA-AP) at the KFCC in Samseong-dong and the Training Center in Jeju for 6 days from Jun. 19.

□ The workshop was implemented as an initiative that focused on the development of credit cooperatives through connection to ‘the sustainable development partnership plan’ of ICA.

□ The participants of the workshop will form a working group to create a basis for the efficient cooperation among the member organizations and go from there to share knowledge and discover feasible ideas with a view to developing the credit cooperatives in Asia and Pacific.

□ Executive Vice President Kim Ki Chang of KFCC delivered a cheer-up message to the workshop participants, emphatically saying, “I hope that the workshop will serve as a primer that instills new vitality in the credit cooperatives in Asia and Pacific by improving its channels for communication and collaboration.”

□ Meanwhile, KFCC will continuously implement projects for delivering various types of Saemaul Geumgos and for providing related cooperations in Asia and Pacific.
