□ On the 25th (local time), KFCC (President & Chairperson Park Cha Hoon) participated in the 'UN Public Service Forum (UN PSF)' and presented domestic and international financial inclusion cases including Saemaul Geumgo's international development cooperation project. □ 'UN Public Service Forum (UN PSF)' shares best practices in public administration and discusses development measures in public administration in commemoration of the Public Administration Day (June 23) each year. This year marks the 17th since 2003. □ In this forum, jointly held by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) and the Azerbaijani government, KFCC participated as a global financial inclusion case representing Korea in the workshop hosted by the UN Project Office on Governance (UNPOG, Director Chae-gun Chung). □ Since establishment in 1963, Saemaul Geumgo has formed KRW 175 trillion asset as of the end of May 2019, and actively implemented various financial inclusive services for the financially neglected. The success story of Saemaul Geumgo has become an exemplary model of financial inclusion by establishing and spreading Saemaul Geumgo in developing countries such as Myanmar and Uganda. □ In the presentation, the international cooperation department of KFCC said, "We will continue to fulfill the roles of Korea's representative financial institution for the ordinary people by spreading financial inclusion activities of Saemaul Geumgo worldwide."
