□ On 21st, KFCC (President & Chairperson Park Cha Hoon) announced that it attended the 'UN Symposium' in Nairobi, Kenya on October 18 (local time) and presented MG Saemaul Geumgo's domestic and overseas financial inclusion cases including the international development cooperation project. □ In this symposium, jointly held by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), Kenyan government and African Union Development Agency (AUDA NEPAD), KFCC participated to represent Korea's global financial inclusion case in the workshop hosted by the UN Project Office on Governance(Director Chae-gun Chung). □ Inheriting the identity of Saemaul Geumgo since its establishment in early 1960s, KFCC not only provides financial inclusive services to financially neglected people in Korea but also contributes to improve quality of life of local people in developing countries by setting up and spreading Saemaul Geumgo in developing countries such as Myanmar and Uganda. □ In this presentation, a participant from KFCC said, "We shared our case of expanding Saemaul Geumgo's financial inclusive activities that we have continued in Korea for over half century", and added, "We will continue to fulfill our roles and responsibility as Korea's representative financial institution for ordinary people."
