□ KFCC (President & Chairperson, Park Cha Hoon) announced that it held a meeting on October 23 to strengthen cooperation, seek mutual development strategy and promote amicable ties with the Federation of Savings and Credit Cooperative of Thailand Limited (FSCT). □ In the meeting, FSCT requested KFCC for the continued cooperation to grow IT sector in savings and credit cooperatives field of Thailand. □ Since entering a mutual agreement in 1993, the two organizations have implemented Leadership Exchange Program for cooperative leaders every year. This year, they had industrial field visits to Hyundai Motors and Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea's industrial city of Ulsan to have a glimpse about Korea's history of economic development. □ Also, they learned benchmarking know-how in IT sector of financial cooperatives of Thailand and exchanged opinions about application in cooperatives of Thailand by paying a visit to Saemaul Geumgo IT center. □ Mr. Paiboon Kaewpaetai, Vice President of FSCT and delegation leader said, "It was impressive to see Saemaul Geumgo's systematic operation and its contribution to Korea's economic development." □ After the successful completion of 8-day exchange program and farewell event, the FSCT delegation will return home country after the disbanding ceremony.
