□ KFCC (President & Chairperson, Park Cha Hoon) announced that from January 1, 2020, it serves as a member organization of European Association of Co-operative Banks (EACB) to represent Korea's financial cooperatives. □ The membership approval of KFCC in EACB is considered a recognition of Saemaul Geumgo's domestic and overseas financial inclusion activities and performance of Korea's representative financial institution for the ordinary people. □ EACB has been established in 1970 to represent mutual benefit of cooperative banks and to lead global financial cooperative movements. Currently, it has 27 members in 23 countries including the National Association of German Cooperative Banks (BVR), DZ Bank AG, and Rabobank. □ Park Cha Hoon, President & Chairperson of KFCC, will be participating as an executive committee member of EACB to represent Saemaul Geumgo, and is expected to contribute to the development of Korea's financial cooperatives through the exchange and cooperation with European cooperative banks. □ Since January 1, 2020, KFCC has been in charge of Council of Korean Cooperatives as a secretariat office, representing Korean members of ICA, and will be carrying out various cooperative activities with members to spread values of cooperatives all over the world.
