□ The KFCC signed Working Minutes with the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance (VCA) on Feb. 17, 2020 in order to promote regular mutual cooperation programs.

□ The agreement is mainly aimed at establishing partnerships for the growth of two organizations and strengthening cooperation in human resources development, and both organizations plan to continue working-level talks and communication between representatives to contribute to the development in the cooperative sector.

□ The VCA is an apex organization with 1,674 working employees and offices in 63 provinces, representing 74 cooperative associations, 22,456 primary cooperatives and 6.95 million members.

□ Mr. Park Cha Hoon, President & Chairperson of KFCC said "We hope that this agreement will serve as a best example of the cooperation among cooperatives, especially for domestic and foreign financial cooperatives." He also emphasized that "The KFCC will play a central role in the communication of cooperatives between Korea and Vietnam, and will actively respond to the government's New Southern Policy."
